1. Accepted Documents
We accept driver's license and motor vehicle record (MVR) uploads in PDF, JPG, PNG, or HEIC format, up to 10 MB each. Insurance is included with every lease, so you do not need to upload an insurance document.
2. Secure Transport
All uploads are transmitted over HTTPS using industry-standard TLS encryption. Files are never sent over unencrypted connections.
3. Private Storage
Documents are stored in a private, access-controlled storage bucket. Filenames are randomized so a leaked URL cannot reveal the document. Public access to your documents is disabled.
4. Who Can Access
Access is limited to authorized Bryde Rentals personnel involved in application review and to vetted screening partners where verification requires it. Access is logged.
5. Retention and Deletion
We keep your documents only as long as necessary for application review, lease administration, insurance, and legal record-keeping. You can request deletion of documents we are no longer required to keep by emailing support@brydeentals.com.
6. Your Responsibilities
- Upload only your own documents
- Do not upload documents containing more sensitive data than required (e.g. blur out unrelated information where possible)
- Keep your account password secure
7. Reporting a Concern
If you believe a document has been accessed without authorization, contact us immediately at support@brydeentals.com.
