1. Permitted Use
Vehicles are leased exclusively for personal mobility: everyday passenger transportation, commuting to and from work, errands, and personal travel within the approved service area.
2. Strictly Prohibited: TNC and Delivery Platforms
You may not operate, register, or activate a Bryde Rentals vehicle on any Transportation Network Company, rideshare, courier, or on-demand delivery platform, including but not limited to Uber, Lyft, Via, DoorDash, Uber Eats, Instacart, Grubhub, Amazon Flex, Shipt, or any similar service. Carrying passengers or goods for hire or compensation of any kind is prohibited.
3. Material Breach and Termination
Any TNC, rideshare, or delivery use is a material breach of your lease. Bryde Rentals may terminate the lease immediately and recover the vehicle without further notice. Your deposit may be applied to any resulting costs.
4. Coverage Forfeiture and Hold Harmless
Prohibited commercial use voids any coverage, protection, or damage waiver provided through Bryde Rentals or the vehicle owner. You assume full personal financial and legal responsibility for any accident, injury, damage, claim, fine, or loss that occurs during prohibited use, and you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Bryde Rentals and the vehicle owner from all such claims.
5. Verification
Bryde Rentals may verify compliance using vehicle telematics, mileage records, and other lawful means. Mileage beyond the monthly limit is billed at $1.50 per mile.
6. Your Agreement
By submitting an application or signing a lease, you certify that the vehicle will be used solely for personal transportation and will not be operated for any TNC, rideshare, or commercial delivery service.
